Life is a constant challenge, often pushing us to our limit.
Counselling and Psychotherapy
I offer Integrative Therapy, combining Person-Centred Counselling and Existential Psychotherapy, providing a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where we can explore the challenges you are facing and work together towards a more positive future.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, relationship difficulties, stress, loss, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you better understand yourself and the choices available to you.
Our first session will include a brief assessment and an opportunity for us to get to know one another, after which we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Sessions are typically held weekly and are open-ended, allowing you to continue for as long as you feel it is beneficial.
The fee is £60 for a 50-minute session, with longer appointments available by arrangement.
Employee Assistance
I provide workplace counselling and wellbeing support for employees experiencing stress, anxiety, workplace difficulties, personal challenges, bereavement, relationship issues, health concerns, or other circumstances that may be affecting their wellbeing and performance at work.
Counselling offers a confidential space to explore these issues, gain greater understanding, develop coping strategies, and work towards positive change. For employers, investing in employee wellbeing can lead to improved morale, productivity, attendance, and staff retention, while demonstrating a genuine commitment to employee welfare. Support is typically provided in blocks of six sessions, with recommendations tailored to individual needs.
Sessions are charged at £60 each, and where required, attendance records and a brief summary report can be provided at the end of the agreed programme, while always respecting client confidentiality.
Supervision
I offer both clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists, and non-clinical supervision for professionals working within healthcare, social care, and the criminal justice sector. Holding a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision from York St John University, accredited by the BACP, I work with practitioners at all stages of their professional development.
My approach is based on the Hawkins and Shohet Seven-Eyed Model, providing a reflective and supportive space to explore client work, professional practice, wellbeing, and the wider context in which you work. For those in demanding frontline roles, supervision can help prevent burnout, improve resilience, and support effective decision-making.
Sessions are typically held monthly and are charged at £60 per hour, with 90-minute sessions often recommended for clinical supervision in line with BACP guidance.

Real Stories of Transformation and Recovery
May 2026
I received an imense amount of support and guidance through, what I have certainly found to be, one of the hardest things to happen to me in my life.

We have known and worked with Debbie for many years. Debbie has always been exceptionally passionate and professional about her work, with great insight into issues, coupled with a very natural and comfortable way about her. She has frequently surprised me with her grasp of an unknown issue, being able to see to the very core of a problem, or opportunity. I would thoroughly recommend Debbie as someone to have on your side and work with, as tomorrow, you will be better for it.

From my first session With Debbie, I felt completely at ease and very able to communicate with her on an extremely personal level. I was very taken aback by the amount I learned about myself through the positive counselling I received. I found I was capable to express who I really am and what I really thought without having any feeling of being judged. I would definitely not have been able to find my way through my depression without having such an understanding counsellor.
